On above date the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, • met in regular session for the transaction of the following busi- ness, and with the following officers present. to-wit; J F Reed, Mayor. pro, tem. J A Richolt, Alderman. M J Gardner, " . W 4 Bradley, " J L Lea, Jr, City Egineer, L C Hinckley, City Clerk, V G Skeen and City Marshall, A J Humphris, in attendance. Minutes of last regular-meeting were read and approved. J J Perkins of the Perkins, Timberlake Co came before the Board of Aldermen, with the request that they be granted permission to extend the cellar under the building now being built at 820 M 822 Indianai Ave, otit under the-sidewalk, whereupon, Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by ,I L Lea, Jr. that 1,8 the Perkins, Timberlake Co, be granted permission to extend the illivrili. ((? cellar out under the sidewalk at 820 & 822 In diana Ave.,lavef to restore the sidewalk to its former condition, with the understanding that the Perkins, Timberlake Co, are to have the work done under �L the supervision of the City Engineer, and to hold the city harmless �,,r✓ 0 from any damages which may be occasioned by said extension. lJ' �� r" Motion carried. /�_. / ij'" H J Naylor of the firm of Naylor, Hammock and Nosy came before the !ll��� Board of Aldermen asking permission to use part of Alley and':.part of the_street;..at 820. & .822:.Ind Ave, for the storing of building material during the construction of the Perkins, Timberlake Co, building, after some discuss&on of the matter, A motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by J A Rioholt that Saylor, Hammock & Noey be granted permission to use eighteen feet in. front of, and one half of the alley in the rear of 820 & 822 i Indiana Ave for the purpose of storing building materail during the construction of the Perkins, Timberlake Co building, with the understanding that they are to hold the city harmless from any damages which might be caused by the use of said street and alley. Motion carried. Motion was made by J L Lea, Jr and seoonded by M J Gardner, that the Sanitary Committee be authorized to extend the sewer line on 4th Street between Adams and Lee a distance of about 135 feet. Motion carried. Motion was made by J W BrdItey and seconded by J L Lea, Jr that the Sanitary Committee be authorized to entend the Sewer line on 9th street between Travis and Lamar about 150 or 160 feet. Motion carried. Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by M J Gardner that the City Clerk be authorized to pay the freight on a shipment of piling for the County and City, on arrival of same, and to charge half the amount to the County, said charge to be paid by the county at the next regular meetingof the County Commissioners. Motion cattied. There being no further business the Board of Aldermen regessed until Monday morning, May 29th at 9.30 o'clock.
