The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in extra sesedon on above date with the following officers
present;
A H Britain Mayor.
J L Lea, Jr, Alderman.
Dr J F Reed, n
M J Gardner, "
J A Richolt,
and with J W Bradley, Alderman, absent.
City Clerk V G Skeen and City Marshall A J Humphris in attendance.
Mayor Britain stated that the object of the meeting was to open and
consider bids for the sale of $40,000.00 Street Improvement Bonds,
whereupon the following bids were opened and considered; towit;
J E Jarrett & Co, San Antonio, Texas,offdred$40,050.00 flat.
IDS FOR E H Rollins & Sons, Chicago, Ill. offered par and accrued interest

$BIDS FO.00 to date of delivery and in addition thereto a premium of $10.00.
IMPROV�.i The Provident Savings Bank & Trust Co, Cincinnati, Ohio, offered
MENT BONDS. , per value of the bonds and interest to date of delivery and a
premium of $132.00
The International Trust Co of Denver, Colo, offered par value of the
bonds, accrued interest to date of delivery of th bon s and a
premium of $644.00 and furnish blank bonds,fna/L fe v�c.ea a•►.„,
Fidelity Trust Co, Kansas City Mo, offered par lue of the bonds,
accrued interest to date of delivery and a premium of µ157.00 and
furnish blank bonds. !:-.
J R Sutherlin & Co, Kansas City, offered par value of the bonds,
accrued interest to date of delivery and a premium of $211.00 and
furnish blank bonds.
Kaufman-Smith-Emert Investfinent Co, St Louis, Mo, offered par
value of the bonds, accrued interst to-.date of delivery of the
bonds and a premium of $460.00 and to furnish blank bonds.
United States Bond & Mortgage Co, of Dallas, Texas, offered par, `
accrued interest and $110.00 premium. e
After some discussion of the merits of the variousl_bids motion was
made by J L Lea, Jr and seconded by J F Reed, that the offer of
Kauffman-Smith-Emart Investment Co as above be accepted, on'e-BrldY-
tion that interest and principal be made payable at the office of •
the City Treasurer of the City of Wichita malls, Texas, accrding o
to advertised specifications. Motion carried. o
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
