Wichita Falls, Texas, July 20th 1916.
The Board of nld.rmen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texj.s, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the
following business and with,
A H Britain, Mayor.
J F Reed, Alderman,
J A Richolt, Alderman,
J L Lea, Jr. Aiderman, present,
and with M J Gardner and J W Bradley, aldermen, absent.
V G Skeen, city Clerk and a J Humphris, City Marshall in attendance.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J F Reed, that
the bills against the City of Wichita Falls, as OK'd by the
finance committee be ordered paid. Motion carried.
Motion was nude by J F Reed and seconded by J A Richolt, that
on recommendation of H F Robertson, Collector,eewer rentals
be refunded, on account of vacancies he.xxectexabut as follows;
Mrs Maud Miller, $2.50, Chas Pridgen, $2.75. Mrs Glante Perry
$3.00, and to Jones--Kennedy Co, 04.50 on account of duplicate
payment, an allowance of 50c to J S Bellew and $5.25 to E B
Gorsline on account of vacancies. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J F Reed and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, that
a Voucher for $3850,00 in favor of the Elgin Street Sweeper oo
be drawn and forwarded to them in payment for the Street
Sweeper. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J L Lea, Jr that
Grover Habern be p*id $20.00 out of the Street Fund and $15.00
out of the Park fund for compensation for extra services on the
Street Sweeper and :awn Mower. Motion carroed..
The following transfrs were ordered made made as._per'recommendation
of St. Commissioner Richolt.
Credit St Fund and Charge Sewer Fund.
Feed for 6 horses 1 Rio. at $15.00 per month each. $90.00
reed for 1 horse 2/3.mo. at $10.00 Per month 6.70
Credit St Fund and Charge Gen Fund.
Feed for one horse one month at $10.00 per month, 10.00
Feed for stock inpounded, 1.50
feed for two crippled horse one month at $10.00 each.F D. 20.00
Feed and tools on team 24 days on river job at $1.50 day. 36.00
Credit Street Fund and charge Park Fund.
Feed for one mule one month, Cemetery, 12.50
Total credit to St Fund, ;176.70
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
