The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Palls, Texas, met
on above date for the transaction of sunb business as might ,
properly come before it and with the following officers present,
to-wit;

Minutes of previuns meeting were read and approved.
On motion df J ' Reed, Seconded by J A-R±nholt, the following
resolution was adopted, to-wit;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Wichita Falls, that the City Tax Collector, H F
`_ Robertson be instructed and required to collect all delinquent
�/Y • taxes that are collectable, and whereever the facts justify
that the City Attorney, Horace Nutt, is instructed to file
suit to collect such taxes and to enforce the tax loin of the
City on all such property, and that the City Tax Collector
is authorized to call upon the City Attorney to assist in the
collection of such taxes by slits or levies wheresoever the
same may be proper and necessary.
W B Jones came before the Board of Aldermen with the request
that Sax Valuation on house and lot No16 Block No 18, Jalonic
Addition t the City of Wichita halls, be reduced on account
of excessive rendition, whereupon, motion was made by J F Reed
and seconded by J A Richolt, that tax vauation be fixed at
$600.00 for the years 1915 and 1916. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J F Reed, that
bills against the City as OKd by the Finance Committee be
� allowed and ordered paid. Motion carried.
Ifs"'Q Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J F Reed that
1.04 the Tax Rolls as prepa red by Tax Collector H F Robertson
and presented before the Board of Aldermen be approved for the
1 year 1916. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by J F Reed, that
the WichitalFalls. Water Co, be requested to replace hose
connectinns on plugs at the corner of 9th and Bluff sts, 9th
and Holliday sts and at 9th and Polk Ste, so that same will
correspond with connections oh`other fits plugs of the city
and will fit connections on both the fire engines, to raise
fire plugs at the corner of llth and Scott st and at 14th and
Burnett st to same height as other fire plugs of the city and
to change cap on fire plug at the corner of Deggs ans Cook
sts so that regular plug wrench will hold. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J F Reed and seconded by J 56 Bradley, that
Seery and Marchman, agents,for the Sndter property on 7th st
be directed to repair sidewalk and fill up hole in front of
the Oil Exchage Bar, and that they be so notified. Motion
carried.
.Otieed was made by J W Bradley and seconded by J F Reed, that
the iioneta.bles fierce, W P Allen, Ed`oxrnee and Harold Buster
be paid $1:00 in each of tea arrests which they had helped-the
city officers to make and in which the defendants had paid fines.
Motion carried.
, There being no further bus ess the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
