on above date the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, met in called session with the following officers present,
to-wit;
A H Britain, Mayor.
Dr J F Reed, Alderman.
J A Richolt,
M J Gardner,
J W Bradley,
Absent,
J l Lea, Jr,
City Atty Nutt, City Clerk Skeen and City Marshall A J Humphris
in attendance.
The purpose of the meeting as explained by Mayor Britain being
to discus the Milk Ordinance with a commitee representing the
Dairymen of the City, this committee being composed of Dr L C
Tyson, J W Campbell, J L Belote, Mike Emmert, W P Duncan, G A
Curfman and W M McDonald.
Various sections of the Milk Ordinance were taken up and read,
its provisions expalined by the Board of Alderman and objections
thereto raised by the comittee, the most serious objection to the
oatdiance seemed to be to that part requiring dairy cattle to
tested for tuberculosis and the charge therefor, the Mayor explained
however that this test cpold be made by any Veterinary 3ergeon
registered with and recognized by the Texas Livestock Sanitary
Commission.
There being no fouther business and no action taken in the matter
of camplaints made, the Board of Alderman adjourned.
