The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
on above date for the transaction of such business as might
properly come before it and with the following officers present,
to-wit;

M J Gardner, Alcerman.
J L Lea, Jr, TT
Dr J F Reed, "
J A Richolt, "
J W Bradley, 't
City Atty Nutt, City Engineer Hinckley, City Clerk Skeen and
City Marshall Humphris in attendance.
Minutes of previous meetings were read and approved.
Mayor Britain reported that settlement of the suit of the City
against R D Moxley & Co, and the Southwestern Surety, Company
had been made by the Southwestern Surety Co paying over to him
thexsum of $3250.00 cash which had been deposited to the credit
of J W Walkup, Treas. in the National Bank of Commerce and that
a release had been executed, whereupon mtion was made by M J Gard-
ner and seconed by J A Richolt that report be accepted and approved.
Motion carried.
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by J F Reed that the
Southwestern Telephone & Telegraph Co, be directed to install
auxiliary phones in the sleeping apartments of both fire stations,
at a cost of 80/ each per month. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J W Bradley, that
a car of sewer pipe shipped by the San Antonio Sewer Pipe Co, be
paid for less the discount. Motion carried.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
