The Board of Aldermen of thecCity of Wichita Falls, met on above
date for the transaction of atieh business as might properly be
brought before it and with the following officers present, to-wit;

J M Bland, appeared befote the Board of aldermen with request
that a Sewer Rental Rate be fixed on the Henderson & Bland Bldg,
at Corner of 7th St and Scott Ave. whereupon motion was made by
J F Reed and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, that a rate of $20.00 per
year be fixed on said property, with no allowance for vacancies,
and rentals to begin Sept 1st. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by M J Gardner, that
a voucher for $30.60 be drawn in favor of Hinckley and Dobson,
to reimburse them for expenses on trip to Ft Worth & Dallas and
return to inspect paving repairs and other matters pertaining to
the repair of 10th Street. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, that
a warrant for $150.00 be drawn in favor of Fitzgerald and Cox,
to pay them for services rendered in the case of the City against
R D Mosley & Co, and the Southwestern Surety Insurance Co,wherein
suit was broughtfiati:TentheStrhatr:.MaintainacadBond. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J F Reed and seconded by J A Rioholt, that a
warrant for $78.38 be drawn in favor of H T Robertson for 5%
commission on $1567.75 sewer rent collections, Motion carried.
Dr Reed recommended that a sewer lime be installed in the alley
in Block 245, between 6th and 7th streets and Holliday and Broad
streets, whereupon motion was made by J A Rioholt and seconded
by J L Lea, Jr that recommendation be approved and line be
ordered installed. Motion carried.
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by J F Reed that
Fred Smith be paid at the rate of $85.00 per month for services
as motorcycle policeman, he to furnish machine and pay for upkeep.
of same, time of such service to begin with the let of August.
Motion carried.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
