The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met on
above date in called session, with Mayor A H Britain, presiding,
and with the following Aldermen present, towit;
M J Gardner, Dr J F Reed, J A Richolt and J W Bradley, Alderman
J L Lea, Jr., being absent.
City Atty Nutt, City Clerk. Skeen and City Marshall Humphris in
attendance.
gn Mayor Britain stated that the meeting had been called at the
(,tom request of Dr Tyson, of the Dairymens Association for the purpose

of having further conference with a committee composed of J L
B Taylor, Dr L C Tyson, J A McSpadden, M K Emmert and
McConkey, T
T A Hale, relative to certain provisions of the Milk Ordinance.
Other Dairymen present were J A Kemp, G W Clark and Will Morris.
More or less discussion of the ordinance was had, certain features
were gone over and objections raised thereto, and while no action
was taken by the Board it was agreed that the enforcement of the
ordinance would be defered for two weeks or until the 25th of Sept.
Some complaint against the charges as provided in the ordinance
for amking Tuberculine Tests was raised and the Dairymens Committee
agreed to ascertain and report to the Board the number of cows in
the various heads of the Association that the expenses of making
such tests might be arrived at with the view of fixing a lower
charge if the Board deemed it adviseable.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
