Page 117. Wichita Falls, Texas, Sept 28th 1916.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
on above date for the transaction of such business as might
properly come before it, Mayor A H Britain presiding, and with
the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J tl Ricnolt, J ;. Bradley, J F Reed, J .. Lea, Jr.; ;.: J Gardner.
City Engineer Hinckley, City ratty Nutt, City Clerk ..een and
City Marshall Humphris, in attendance.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr F N Lawton, representing the Uichita Falls, Traction Co, came
before the Board to ask permission to suspend "Danger Signs"
across the streets at 10th and Broad and at 10th and Kemp Boul-
1\ $yard, whereupon, motion was made by Dr treed and seconded by
‘ J Richolt, that permission be granted the Wichita Falls
' Traction Co to suspend Danger signs at above mentioned localities. e
Motion carried.
Mr J 7. Pond, came before the Board to ask permission to install
an Oil Tank in the ground back of Ponds Landry for the purpose
of storing oil for fuel, whereupon motion was made by J W Bardley
and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, that J W Pond be granted permission
to install an oil tank in the ground in the alley back of Ponds
Laundry for the storing of fuel r�il,with the understanding that
he is to gave the City harmless from any damages which may be
caused by the placing of said oil tank in said alley, and to do
:the'work under the supervision of the city Engineer, Motion carriai
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by J W Bradley, that
Geo Dobson be refuned $12.90 paid out on trip to Ft Worth, Dallas
and return for the purpose of securing such equipmeht as found 1
necessary for the repair of lot$ street. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by J A Richolt, that
the City Treasurer be instructed to post the Bond Register up to
dale. Motion carried.
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by J W Bradley, that
a sewer line be installed on 9th street west to accomodate houses
in Block No 27. Motion carried.

Motion was made by J F Reed and seconded by J L Lea, Jr. that
City Ttty Nutt be instructed tgLprenare the necessary resolution
for the issuance of "t15.000.00 &rrn/. Bonds for an election to be
held on the 7th of November. Motion carried.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
