The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met on
above date in' regular session for the transaction of the city's
business with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with the following
Aldermen present;
J A Richolt, J L Lea, Jr, J F Reed, M J Gardner and J W Bradley.
City Clerk Skeen, City Engineer Hinckley, City Collector Robertson
and City Marshall Humphris, in attendance.
Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, and
which carried that a bill in favor of Taylor Bros for work done y
in the Tax Collectors Office be allowed and ordered paid.
Motion was made by J tl Richolt and seconded by J W Bradley, that
a bill of f7.50.:.for phone service in'chnnectien=_with,lOth'stiedt
- paving matters, and which he had paid be refunded to Mr Hinckley.
Motion carried.

Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J W Bradley, and
which carried, that H F Robertson be pied $21.31 for commission
on sewer collections.
Ordinance No 232.
An Ordinace granting the Missouri Kansas & Texas, Ry Co of Texas,
its successors, lessees, assigns and receivers, the right to
construct a standard guage railway track in, along and across
park Utreet between blocks "A" & "B" of the Granger and Ballew
Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as is shown by
map or plat thereof of record 40 the Deed Records of Wichita
• County Texas, the location of the track being shown by map attached
hereto and made a part of this Ordinance, on motion made by J W
Bradley and seconed by J L Lea, Jr, was put on its second reading
and passed by the following "Yea" and "Nay" vote; to-wit,
J W Bradley, Yea, J A Richolt, Yea, J F Reed, Yea, M J Gardner,
Yea, J L Lea, Jr, Yea.
Mayor Britain then declared Ordinance No 232, granting the H & T
Ry Co of Texas, the right to construct certain rialroad trackg
along., and over Park Street of the. Grang?r and Ballew tQ

An Ordinance granting the Panhandle Refining Co, the right to
construct pipe lines over and along certain ats.and alleys of4heccity
was presented for consideration,and Mayor Britain askidg'to'be
excused from participation in the consideration of the Ordinance,

whose principal office is in the City of Wichita Falls, ",ichita
County Texas, a franchise for the construction of pipe' lines for
the the conveyance of fuel oil along and over certain streets and
alleys and public gronds in the City of "'ichita Falls, Texas, was
on motion made by r J Gardner and seconded by J W Bradley, put on I
its first reading and passed by the following "Yea" and "Nay" vote,
J W Bradley, Yea, J n Richolt, Yea, M J Gardner, Yea, J L Lea Jr
Yea.
Dr Reed, Mayor Pro-tem, than dedlared Ordinance No 233, and Ordinance
Franchise, granting the Panhandle nefining Co, the right to construct
pipe lines for the conveyanoe of fuel oil along and over certain
streets, alleys and public gronds of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
-as per map attached to Ordinance and made a part of same- passed on
its first reading by a vote of all the Aldermen of the City present
and voting "Yea".
Motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by M J Gardner, that an ,
account of $,45.00 in favor of A E Myles for services rendered in the
posting of the City Bead Register be allowed and ordered paid.
Motion carried.
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconed by J A Richolt, that an
unearned balance of $132.02 on City Occupation Tax License No 159, cp
sued t ' F MCKown be refunded to the Peoples Ice Co, who hold I)ixt a
firudaa„ ein a finst said License. Motion carried.,
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by J a Richolt, that
Dr Reed, chairman of the Sanitary Committee be authorized to install
sewer_linds..im.. the alleys of Blocks Nos 31 and 5 F oral Heights,
provided the rentals threfrom will yeald a revenig 8% en the
cost of construction. Motion carried.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned to
meet again in adjourned Talon at'2 P.U.Nov 3rd 1916.

The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met on
above date in adjourned session for the consideration of the
following business and with the following officers present, to-wit,

Mayor Britain stated the object of the meeting to betto consider
the construction of Storm Sewer on Ohio Ave from llth street south.
After a discussion of the proposition motion was made by Dr Reed
and seconded by J A Richolt that a storm sewer be installed on
east side of Ind Ave, from iiort4 side of llth street to connect
with storm sewer ditch east of bridge near 14th street, and that
laterals be constructed on north side of llth street to east side
' of Ohio At enue and on north side of 12th street to east side of
fie/
Ohio, and then a lateral dressing 12th street on east side of :hio,
and to extend the present storm sewer across the Henderson property
to connect with storm sewer under bridge, said extension across
Henderson property to be about 7 feet in diameter, from north side
of 12th street to connect with tteinazanstamt440h storm sewer ditch ,
fo be 20 inches in diameter and balance Of line_to be 24_inehes
in diameter, with necessary intakes,and that Mayor Britain and
Ald rman Richolt be authorized to execute a contract for above
described storm sewer. Motion carried. r
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by J r Bradley that the
grade in Ohio and Ind Aires between llth and 12th streets be broken
in certer of blocks. Motion carried.
