Wichita Fella, Texas, Nov 17th 1916.
On above date the Wichita County Commissioners Court and the
Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
joint session with the following members present, to-wit;
Judge Harvey Harris, Commissioners J P Jackson, E A McCleskey,
R L Eads and H H Haynes, Mayor A H Britain, J A Richolt, J W
Bradley, Dr J F Reed and M J Gardner, Aldermen.
J L Lea, Alderman being absent.
Mayor Britain being called on to preside dedlared tie purpose
of the meeting to be to consider and make appointment of a
Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital for.the
ensueing tww years, explaining that -two of the last named board
had been disqualified, Dr Clark of Iowa Park by the reason of the
fact that he had moved out of the county, and that Mx R L Eads
had been elected a County Commissioner, whereupon motion was
made by E A McCloskey and seconded by R L Eads that Dr J E Daniel,
Dr Chas R Hartsook and Mrs Frank Kell of the present Board be
re-appointed as members of the Board of Mag'gers of the Wichita
General Hospital for the ensueing two years. Motion carried.
In the consideration of two additional members of the Board
Dr F R Collard and Dr W W Cox were nominated, whereupon motion
was made by E A MoOleskey and seconded by H H Haynes, that
F R Collard of Iowa Park and W X Cox of Electra, be appointed
vs members of the Board of Manners fif_the_Wichita-General .
. Hospital for the ensueing two years. Motion carried.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
