The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the
regular business of the City, with Mayor a H Briataine presid-
ing and with the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J W Bradley, J L Lea, Jr, M J Gardner.and Dr J F Reed,
Alderman J A Richolt, being absent.
City Atty Nutt, City Clerk Skeen, City Engineer Hinckley, City
Assessor and Collector Robertson and City Marshall Humphris in
attendance.
Minutes and previous meetings were read and approved.
The reports of the following officers were checked, - and
approved.
The report of J P Walkup, City Treasurer showed the following
exhibits.

Ordinance No 235.
An Ordinance regulating the sale and keeping for sale of Meats,
Fish, Game, ?oultry and Products thereof, was on mtoin made by
Dr Reed and seconded by M J Gardner, put on its second leading
and passed by the following "Yea- and _"Hay- vote;
J W Bradley, Yea. J F Reed, Yea. M J Gardner, Yea. J L Lea. Jr,
Yea.
Mayor Braitain then declared Ordinance No 235, an Ordinance
reguating the sale and keeping for sale of Meats, Fish, Game,
Puultry and products thereof, passed on its second reading by
the unanimous vote of all the Aldermen of the city present
voting Yea.
Ordinance No 236.
An Ordiaance regulating the preparation and sale of Food and
Food Products in Restaurants, Cafes and Delicatessens etc, was
on motion made by J W Bradley and seconded by J L Lea, Jr, put
on its second reading and passed by the following "Yea" and "Nay"
vote;
J W Bradley, Yea. J F Heed, Yea, M J Gardner, Yea, J L Lea, Jr,
Yea.
Mayor Briatain then declared Ordinance No 236, an Ordinance
regulating the preparation add sale of Food and Food Products,
in Restaurants, Cafes and Delicatessens passed on its second
reading bj the unanimous vote of all the Aldermen of the city
present voting ''yea£.
Ordinance No 237.
An Ordinance creating a Board of Health for the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, its organization and defining its powers and duties
was on motion made by Dr Heed and seconded by M J Gardner, put
on itstgecon3 reading and passed by the following "Yea" and "Nay"
vote;
J W Bradley, Yea, J F Reed, Yea. M J Gardner, Yea, J L Lea, Jr.
Yea.
page 134. Mayor Britain then declared Ordinance No 237, an Ordinance
creating a Board of Health.for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
its organization and defining its powers, passed on its second
reading, by the unanimous vote of all tke Aldermen of the City
present, voting "Yea".

Ordinance No 238.
An Ordinance with reference to Communicable Diseases, Notification
of Cases, Quarantine, Isolation, Disinfection, School Attendance
of Cases and Contact, was. on motion made byJ L Lea, Jr. and seconded
by J W Bradley, put on its second reading and passed by the folow8
ing "Yea" and "Nay" vote;
J W Bradley, Yea. J F Reed, Yea. M J Gardner, Yea. J L Lea, Jr. Yea.
Mayor Britain then declared Ordinance No 238, an Ordinance with
reference to Communicable Diseases, Notification of Caeses,
Quarantine, Isolation, Disinfection, School Attendance of Cases
and Contact, passed on its second reading by the unanimous vote
of all the Aldermen of the city present voting "Yea".
City Marshall Humphris reported that he had employed Mr T G Wood
as a policeman and had_put him_to work on the force, whereupon,
motion was made by J W Bradley and seconded by I L Bsardr, that
the action of the Marshall be approved and ratified. Motion carried.
