The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date with Mayor A H Britain presid-
ing and with the following aldermen present; to-wit;
Dr J F Reed, J L Lea, Jr, M J Gardner and J A Richolt,
Alderman J i5 Bradley, being absent.
City Atty Nutt, City Engineer Hinckly, City Clerk Skeen and City
Marshal Humphris in attendance.
Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Mr J N Bartle apperred before the Board to advocate the purcgace
by the City of a public market square, pointing out tae great
need of such a place at this time and reminding the Board of the
fact that mAhy-othet,cities of the size of Wichita Falls, had
and maintained such places for the convenience of the producers
of farm products, Mayor Britain stated the finances of the city
woyld not admit of the city taking action in such a matter at
• this time and no further discussion was had.
Motion was made by J A Richolt and seconded by M J Gardner,and
carried, that the bills against the city as 0 xd by the Finance
Committee, be allowed and ordered paid.

Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded b;, J F Reed, that
Ed Carnes Ice paid $3.75 and A E Frost $2.00 fees as special
officers in making arrests. Motion carried.
Motin was made by J A Rickolt and seconded by M J Gardner, that
Collector Robertson be authorized to collect Taxes on a valuation
of ;2000.00 worth of Farm Implements on consignment with the
Farmers Supply Co, on the 1st of Jany 1915. and'owned-by 'fee
oliver chilled Flow Works. Motion carried.
Motion was made by M J Gardner and seconded by Dr Reed, that the
Boad of Aldermen authorized the purchase of a Ford car for the
Police Department. Motion carried.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
