Wichita Falls, Texas, Feby 8th 1917.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wiohita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date with Mayor A H Britain presid-
ing and with the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J F Reed, M J Gardner, J A Richolt, J L Lea, Jr and J V Bradley.
City Marshal R mphris, City Clerk Skeen, City Engineer Hinckley,
City Assessor and Collector Robertson and City Atty Nutt, in
attendance.
Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.
A Committee of ladies from the Civic League composed of Mrs
R G Soheurer and Mrs T B Smock, name before the Board of
Aldermen to discus with them the advisability of begining at
once the destruction of the bag worms, calling attention to the
fact that a great many of the trees of the city were infested
with cocoons from which came the worms. After more or less
discussion of the matter Motion was made by L J Lea, Jr, that
the City employ men to gather and destroy the cocoons and to
otherwise encourage tree owners to see to the destruction of
the pests, which was seconded by J A Rioholt and carried.

Dr Reed moved that H F Robertson be paid 5% comission on
4219,25 sewer rent collected amof.ting to 0210.96, which was
seconded by J A Richolt, and carried.
