The Board of Alderme4 of the City of Wichita Falls, met in
special session on above date with Mayor A H Britain presiding
and with the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J A Richolt, J W Bradley, J L Lea, Jr., J F Reed.
Alderman M J Gardner, absent.
City Atty Nutt, City Engineer Hinckley and City Clerk Skeen
in attendance.
Mayor Britain stated the purpose of the meeting to be to consider
the advisability and advantages to be derived by the City under-
taking to do its own street paving. After more or less discus.
sion of the proposition the conclusion was reached that in the
absence of the actual cost of certain material and machinery
necessary for the city to do the work final action on the
matter should be defered until next regular meeting,or until
a committee composed of Mayor Britain,Alderdan 3 A Richolt and
City Engineer Hinckley, were able to report as to the cost of
said materials and machinery.
There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
