Wichita Falls, Texas, July 26th 1917.
The Board of Aldermen if the City of Wiohita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the
business of the City with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with
the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J A Richolt, J L Lea, Jr, and E G Hill. Aldermen Gardner and
Smith being absent.
City Engineer Hickley, City Marshal Humphris, City Clerk Skeen
and City Atty Nutt in attendance.

Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Mr Homer A Boyles came before the Beard of Aldermen with request
that permission be granted the S Bemrod Auto Co, to install a
Gasoline Filling Station fil0 8th St, whereupon motion was made by
J A Rioholt that the S Bemrod Auto Co be granted permission to

/ install a Gasoline Filling Station at 710 8th st, under the
usual conditions, viz, that the S Bamrod Auto Co is s have the
work of installing said Filling Station done under the supervise
ion of the City Engineer, to save the City harmless from any
damages which may be caused by the placing of a Gasoline Filling
Station at said location and that they and their assigns agree
to remove sd.e,d filling station upon demand of the Board of Alder-
men, which motion was seconded by J L Lea, Jr, and carried.

Mr G W;Filgo came *ore the Board of Aldermen with request that
he be allowed to install a Gasoline Filling Station at 703 10th
'street, whereupon E G Hill moved that G A Filgo be granted per-
mission to install a Gasoline Filling Station at 703 10th, under
**N((//°$ �Q the usual conditions that he is to have the work of installing
said station done under the supervission of the City Engineer,
that he is to save the City harmless from any damages which may
be caused by installing said Gasoline Filling Station at above
location and that he and his assigns agree to remove said
Filling Station upon demand and at the request of the Board of
Aldermen, which motion was seconded by J L Lea, Jr, and carried.

Mayor A H Britain made request that he be granted a leave of
absence from the City during the month of Aegt which request
was granted by the Board of Alderman on motion made by J A
Richolt which motion. irfs seconded-by E G Hill and carried.

Motion was made by E G Hill that Alderman Smith be granted a
leave of absence from the City for about thred weeks, which
motion was seconded by J A Rioholt and carried.

E G Hill moved that J A Richolt be cleated Mayor Pro‘tem during
the absence of Mayor Pro-tem Gardner which motion was seconded
by J L Lea, Jr, and carrieg4 by a vote of those present voting-?
for Mr Rioholt,urlc Qzdeclaredelected by the Mayor.

Sewer extensions were ordered made on motion made by- J A Richolt
as follows; In 9th Street west of Buchanan 160 feat, between 8th
and 9th streets west between Tyler and Polk Ste, and in alley in
Block 98 between Burnett & Bluff Sts, which motion was seconded
by J L Lea, Jr and carried.
There being no further bizsimes the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
