The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the
business of the City, with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with
the following Aldermen present; to-wit:
M J Gardner, E G Hill, J A Richolt, Marvin Smith, and J L Lea, Jr.
City Clerk Skeen and City Marshal Humphrie in attendance.

Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Mr H J Naylor, of the firm of Naylor & Hammack, came before the
Board of Aldermen to ask that they be granted permission to use
a part of streets at the corner of Ind. Ave. and 6th Street,
whereupon , J A Richolt moved that Naylor & Hammack be granted
permission to use 15 feet of the streets at the corner of Ind..
avid. and 6th Strett for the purpose of storing building material
during the construction of a building at said location under the
usual conditions, viz., that they agree to save the City harmless
from any damages which may be caused by the use of said streets
as aforesaid, which motion was seconded by Marvin Smith, and carried

E G HU1 moved that the request of the Wichita Valley Refi4ng Co
that they be granted permission to insatall a Gasoline Filling
Station at 107 Miss St., be granted under the usual_oonditions,
to-wit, that they are to have the work done under the supervis-
ion of the City Engineer, save the City harmless from and damages
which may be caused by the placing of a Gasoline Filling Station
at above location and to remove same at the r'eguatt at upon
demand of the Board of Aldermen, which motion was seconded by
J A Richolt and carried.

J A Richolt moved thatvit be the sense of the Board of Aldermen
that ta• City Pound lot be built an the City property corner of f.1144 4
--and. Holliday Streets and that Aldermen Gardner and Street
Supt Dobson be appointed a comthittee to make the necessary
arrangements, Which'motion was seconded by Mervin Smith and
carried.

Aldermen Gardner reported that be had ordered the Pound Rent
on the old pound lot paid for the month of Agust amounting to
$10.00 less a charge of $1.Q0 for water, whereupon J A Richolt
moved that the action of Mr Gardner be approved, which motion
was seconded by E G Hill and carried.
