••Viehita Palls, Texas. Sept 27th 1917.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wiohita Eels. Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the
business of the City with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with
the following Aldermen present, to-wit;
J L Lae, Jr, J A Rioholt, Marvin Smith and E G Hill. Alderman
Gardner being absent.
City Marshal Humphris and City Clerk Skean in attendance.

Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Messers E M Wilson and C C Randle, representing the Southwestern
Telegraph & Telephone Co, came before the Board of Aldermen r th
request that the Southwestern Tel & Tel Co be granted permission
to place three telephone poles and necessary guy wires on Huff
St, west of Brook St, After due consideration of the matter
action was deferred untill next regular meeting.

Motion was made by J L Lea, Jr, that the Tax Rolls of the City
as prepared by H F Robertson, Tax Collector, for the year 1917,
and exhibited before the Board of Aldermen for inspection, be
approved as presented, which motion was seconded by J A Rioholt
and carried.

There being no further business the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
