The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session on above date for the transaction of the business of the City with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with the follow- ing Aldermen present, to-wit; M J Gardner, J A Rioholt, E G Hill, J L Lea, Jr and Marvin Smith. City _::arshal Sumphris, City Clerk Skeen, Fire Marshal McClure and City Atty Nutt in attendance. -o0o- Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved. -000- Motianwas made by J L Lea, Jr and seconded by Markin Smith that the following transfers be made. Credit Street Fund and charge Sewer Fund,(San Dept). Feed for 6 mules one month at $15.00 per month each, ,,$90.00 Feed for two mules one month at $15.00 per month each, 30.00 (Above two mules borrowed from St Dept) Feed for one horse one month, 12.50 Filling in alley sewer ditch between 8th & 9t4 streets and Taylor and Harrison stretts, Four teams one day at $1.50 per day each, 6.00 Credit Street Fund and charge Gen Fund,(Pound Dept). Feed for one horse one month at $15.00 per month, 15:00 Feed for stock in pound, 6.00 Credit Street Fund and charge Park Fund, Feed for one mule one month at Cemetery, 12.50 One team 44 days at Cemetery, at 31;50 'per day, 66.00 One prisoner 15 days at Cemetery at 60' per day, 9.00 Geo Dobson 4 days at Cemetery at $5.75 per day, 23.00 Credit Street Fund and charge St Improvemnt Fund, One team 26 days on llth and Brook sts at $1.50 per day, 39.00 One presoner 20 day " " # " " .60 " " 12.00 Geo Dobson, 5 " " " " " 5.75 " " 28.75 $349.75 -000- Alderman Richolt reported that he had placed an order for the necessary signs and posts to be placed where needed to properly mark the streets of the city. -o0o- J A Rioholt moved that the F W & D C Ry Co be requested to drain the water off the streets and private property along their right of way from Deggs Street to Holliday crekk where it has been drained from thier Round House, which motion was seconded by M J Gardner and carried. -oOo- Mr W D Gant of the firr,, of Gant Bros, composed of W D & Geo N Gant, came before the Board of Aldermen with request that they be granted permission to install a Gasoline Filling Station at ` n their place of business 807i 10th street, whereupon J L Lea Jr ll joved that Gant Bros be granted permission to insa 11 a Gasoline Filling Station at above named location under the usual puaovis- 11 ions, viz;, that they are save the City harmless from any dam- ages which may be caused by the insallation and maintainance of said Filling Station, to have the work done under the supervision of the City Engineer and to remove the same at thecrequest or upon the demand of the Board of Aldermen, which motion was sec- onded by Marvin Smith and carried. -o0o- J A Richolt moved that the bills against the City as 0 Kd by the Finance Committee be allowed and ordered paid, which motion was seconded by M J Gardner and carried. -00o- I There being no further business the Boatd of Aldermen adjourned.
