The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the business
of the City with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with the following
Aldermen present; to-wit;
M J Gardner, E G Hill, J A Richolt, J L Lea, Jr and Marvin Smith.
City Atty Nutt, City Marshall Humphris, City Clerk Skeen and Fire
Marshall McClure in attendance.

Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by Marvin Smith that a bill of $1770.00 in
favor of the Eurika Fire Hose Mfg Co, for a shipment of Hose
bought last April be allowed and ordered paid, which motion was
seconded by E G Hill and carried.

,�} M J Gardner moved that Fire Chief McClure be authorized to sell
e,(,YC a part of old Fire Hose at the best price obtainable, which
` notion was seconded by E G Hill and carried.

B Mayor Britain reported that he had discussed with Mrs T B Smock,
Assistant Food and Diary Inspector, the• proposition that she
7'N.✓J assume all the duties of that office, and that she had agreed to
undertake the work at $'100.00 per month, whereupon J L Lea, Jr,
4J4 moved that Mrs Smock be employed at the above mentioned salary
and to begin work on the let of Nov, which motion was seconded
by M J Gardner, and carried.
