The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on above date for the transaction of the bus-
iness of the City, with Mayor A H Britain presiding and with the
following Aldermen present, to-wit;
E G Hill, J A Rioholt, Marvin Smith, J L Lea, Jr and M J Gardner.
City Marshal Humphris, City Clerk Skeen, City Atty Nutt, City
Engineer Cooke, Fire Chief McClure and Street Supt Dobson in
attendance.

Minutes of last regular meeting were read and approved.

City Atty Nutt reported that L D Rhodes had closed a:public
alley in the rear of Lot No 11, Block 251, of the original
plat of the City, whereupon, J A Rioholt moved that the City
Attorney be authorized to institute such proceedings as are
necessary tp force the opening-of said alley, which motion was
seconded by E G Hill and carried.

J d Rioholt moved that Aldermen Gardner and St Supt Dobson be
authorized to buy four cars of hay at the best prises obtainable,
which motion was seconded by Marvin Smith and carried.

The ouestion of permanent markings and a general profile, of
the streets and alleys of the city came up for co.sideration,
and the needs of such records were presented by City Engineer
Cooke, whereupon, E G Hill moved that the City Engineer be
authorized to proceed with the establiShMent of such permanent
monuments along the streets of the city as he found necessary
and the making of a general poraianentiprofile of the streets
and alleys of the City, which motion was seconded by Marvin
Smith and carried.

Fire Chief McClure reported that he had sold fifty feet of the
Old Fire Hose at 40V per foot, in accordance with authority
granted at last regular'meeting.

There being no further bdsiness the Board of Aldermen adjourned.
