The Board of Aldermen of the City of uichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on the above date for the transaction of
the business of the city, with Mayor A.H.Brittain presiding and
with the following officers present:

City Attorney Nutt
City Clerk Walkup
City Engineer Cooke
City Marshall Humphries
Fire Chief McClure
Street Supt. Dobson in attendance.

Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved.

Mr. t.E.Huff, representing the First National Bank, came before
the Board and asked permission to install a stairway leading into
the basement of the First National Bank Building on Eighth 'street,
- the stairway to be placed on South side of said building- which
request was refered to City Engineer for report.

Mr. Lawton, representing the Wichita Palls water 'company came
before the Board with the request that the said eater Company
be permitted to connect wells in the Wichita Aiver, at the foot
of Lamar Avenue, with the water mains of the city; whereupon
Alderman Richolt moved that the request be granted, which
motion was granted seconded by Alderman "math and carried.

Mr. Hammack, representing Naylor and Hammack, Contractors,
came before the Board with the request that they be permitted
to c.+-a-e- one half of Brook Street in front of building
being erected for Clint Food, for the purpose of storing
material for the erection of said building; whereupon Alderman
Richolt moved that said request be granted, which motion was
seconded by Alderman Hill and carried.

Alderman Smith moved that a storm sewer be put in across Ohio
Avenue on % 12th Streetconnectin* with main storm sewer; which
motion was seconded by Alderman sill and carried.

The committee appointed to investigate and recommend re-numbering
houses in parts of Floral Heights and Southland Additions,
made the following report:

Wichita calls, Texas.
Gentlemen:
We, your committee, appointed for the purpose of
investigating the confusion existing in certain iaxxta Additions
to the city in the matter of numbering houses, recommending
means of eliminating same, beg leave to report as follows:
In r'loral Heights Addition, we suggest that the numbers
on houses facing East and West on Monroe, Polk, Taylor, Filmore
Kemp Boulevard, Buchanan, Grant and Tilden streets, be numbered
beginning the 1000 block in Blocks #33 and #34, which are bounded
on the North by Tenth Street, on the East by Tyler, on the
South by Avenue "A" and on the West by Polk Street, and continue
the numbering South to the limits of Floral Heights Additions
- the last being the 2200 block.
In Southland Addition, on all houses facing North and
South on llth Street, Huff Avenue, Elizabeth, Lucille, Collins,
Pearl, McGregor and Wilson between Grace and Brook Streets, be
numbered consecutively, beginning #1600 at Grace Street. All
houses facing North and South on Eleventh, Huff, Elizabeth, Lucille
Collins, Pearl, McGregor, Wilson, Keeler and Shaw, between
Baylor and Denver, be numbered consecutively, beginning #1800
at Baylor Street.
In the Spivey Addition, all houses facing North and South
on Gallager, Browning, Marsh "streets and the Wichita Valley My.,
between Holliday and Grace Streets be numbered consecutively
'beginning # 1500 at Holliday Street.

Whereupon Alderman Hill moved that the reportbe adopted , and that
the City Engineer be made the official numberer; which motion was
seconded by Alderman #dii3 Smith and carried. There being no
furthur busineds the Board of aldermen adjourned.
