The Board of Alderman of the City of (ichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the

The minutes of the last regular se. sion were read and approved.
Alderman Smith moved that the following transfers be made by the
City Treasurer:
Wichita Falls, Texas, March 21st, 1918,
The following accounts should be credited to the street fund
and charged to the following funds - from Feb. 1st, 1918 to
March 1st, 1918.

at 810 and 812 7th etreet, "hereunon ldermn dill moved that
said rer_uest be granted under a he 'isual provisions to wit:-

constructed under the suoervisi.,n Of.the sire Jhief and to hold
the city harmless from all damages that may be caused by the
construction and maintenance of said stairway, which motion was
seconded by -alderman uardner and carried.

Alderman Hicholt moved that the Tax 0ollector be instructed to
cancel taxes on lots 6,7,and 8 in lock No 216, for the years 1891
and 1893 wicn motion was ..econded by Alderman Lea and carried.

Auto which motion was seconded by alderman Umith and carried.

pj Alderman Hill moved that the paving on Lamar Avenue between 9th and
10th Streets be fifty feet in width, which motion was seconded by
Alderman "icholt and carried.

Alderman Lea moved that `ire Chief LleClure be axthorized to
Purchase two smoke filters , which motion was seconded bIT

The Board then went into executive session to consider matters
a.ithorized by the City ,,harter to be considered in -xecutive session
After w.iich the yoard went out of ,,xecutive ,ession and the
following business was transacted.

Alderman Hill moved that the salary of the City Clerk be raised
to 0.50.00 per month and that the salary of the City Larshall be
raised to 0.25.00 per month. That the salary of the City Health
officer be raised th w75.00 per month to take effect upon the
Election and wualification of the new officers in April. Also
that the salary of the 'ire Chief J.L.Mc Clure be raised to
125.00 per month and for Fire iwarshall 10.00 , total 135.00 per
month. That the salary of the Assistant Fire Chief Grover
Hobson be raised to 125.00 per month, and that the salary of
the utreet Luperintendent Geo.S.Dobson be raised to 175.00 per
month, to take effect the first day of April 1918, which motion
was seconded by Alderman Gardner and carried.
