The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
met on the above date for the transaction of the business of
the city, with Mayor J.B.Marlow presiding and with the
following officers present: Aldermen J.L.Lea Jr., J.F. Heed,
W.H.Walker, and C.E.McCutchen; City Clerk i+alkup, City
Attorney Mathis, in attendance.
The minuted of the ladt regular session were read and approved.

Alderman Walker moved that J.A. Kemp be not made a party to
the Shipley damage suit, whdhh motion was seconded by Alderman
Lea and carried.

Ordinance No. 251
An ordinance for the regulation of the sales and use of
wheat and wheat products and of sugar in the city of
Wichita Falls, and in aid of the regulations of the
United States Food Administratdnn; and providing penalty
for violation, was on motion of Alderman Walker,
seconded by Alderman McCutchen, put on its third reading
and passed by the following yea and nay votes
Alderman Heed, yea; alderman Lea. yea; Alderman walker, yea;
Alderman McCutchen, yea; Mayor Marlow then declared
Ordinance No. 251 passed on its third and final reading,n
by the unanimous vote of the Aldermen of the City present
voting yea.

Alderman Heed moved that Mrs. Adah H.Tietsort be appointed
Assistant Librarian at a salary of t75.00 per month, which
motion was seconded by Alderman McCuthhen and carried.
