Min 06/06/1918 Wichita Falls, Texas, June 6th, 1918.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita galls, Texas met
in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the
business of the city with Mayor J.B.Marlow presiding and with
the following officers present:
Aldermen J.F.Reed, J.L.LeaJr., J.M.Me 'all, and W.H.Walker;
City Clerk nalkup; City Attorney Mathis; City Marshall Smith
in attendance,__

The minutes of the last regular session were read and approved.

County Judge Harris came b®fore the Board and explained the
condition existing at the ounty Jail relative to women
afflicted with disease and recommended that they be taken to
the county farm for treatment. Whereupon Alderman Walker
moved that they be taken to the county farm and that the city
co-operate with the county in the ca'be and treatment of said
women and that the city bear one half of the expense, which
motion was seconded by Alderman Reed and carried.

Alderman McFall moved that the account of the Rqualization
Board,J.T.Young, J.B. itts and J.J.Simoil for $50.00 each
be paid; which motion was seconded by Alderman Lea and
carried.

Alderman McFall moved that account of H.F.Aobertaon for
$48.07 , commissions on Sewer collections for May, be paid;
which motion was seconded by Alderman Lea and carried.

Alderman heed moved that the street Committee be instructed
to select a mame for the Park Street in the Skinner Addition
to the city, which motion was seconded by alderman Lea and carried

Alderman "alker moved that the salary of S.ir."alker, night w
watchman, be raised to $45.00 per month beginning June 1st,
1918 which motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried.

for May 1918.
