Wichita Falls, Texas, July 11, 1918.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the
business of the city, with Mayor J.B.Marlow presiding and with
the following officers present: Aldermen J.F.Reed, J.L.Ifea Jr,
and C.E.McCutchen; City Clerk Walkup, City Attorney Mathis,
and City Marshall Smith in attendance.

The minutes of the last regular session were read and approved I

Alderman Lea moved that the account of the Selden, Oakland
' Sales Co, of 0331.57 for a motorcycle and speedometer, be
paid, which motion was seconded by Alderman MoCutchen and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that the account of H.F.Robertson for 034.60
commission on Sewer collectionsfor June 1918, be paid which
motion was seconded by Alderman McGutchen and carried.

W.N.Minor, representing the Gulf Refining Co., a Corporation
x came before the Board and asked permission to enstall a gasoline
ti � filling station at the corher of Ninth Street and Lamar Avenue,
4 the same being 901 Lamar Venue; whereupon Alderman Ilea moved
that the request be granted under the usual provisions to wit:
r that the work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer
and that the Gulf Refining Company, its successors and assigns
hold the city harmless from any and all damages that may be
caused by the installation and maintenance off said gasoline filling
station and to remove same upon notice of the Board of Aldermen
which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. I
ORDINANCE NO 252
An ordinance granting unto the Wichita Valley Railway Company
and the Wichita Falls Railway Company, the right to construct
and operate two lines of Railway tracks across certain streets
and alleys in the Jalonic Addition to the city of Wichita Falls
was on motion of Alderman 'ea seconded by -:Alderman MoCutchen
put on its seconded reading and passed by the following yea and
nay vote : Alderman Lea, yea; Alderman Mc Cutchen, yea;
Alderman Reed, yea. Ma or Marlow then declared ordinance No
252 passed on its C12441M1 reading by the unanimous vote of all
Aldermen of the city, present, voting yea.

for the month of June 1918.
