Wichita Falls, Texas, August 22, 1918.
The Board of Aldermen of the city of ;+ichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the
business of the city, with Mayor J.B. Marlow presiding and with
the following officers present: Aldermen J.F.Reed, J.L.Lea Jr.,
J.M.MeFall and C.E.McCutchenCity Attorney Mathis, City Clerk
Walkup, and City Marshall Smith in attendance.

The minutes of the last regular and called sessions were read
and approved.

Alderman McFall moved that Alderman Reed be authorized to draw
up contract with Dr. Meredith as Assistant Food and Dairy
Inspector, and submit the contract to the Board for approval,
which motion was seconded by Alderman _:cCutchen and carried.

The Board then went into executive session to consider
