The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, met in regular session on the above date for the
transaction of the business of the City, with Mayor J.B.
Marlow presiding and with the following officers present:
Aldermen J.F.Reed, J.L.Lea Jr. and J.n.muta11,
Attorney m t a. , City Clerk Walkup and City Marshall Smith
in attendance.

Alderman Reed moved that City Attorney Mathis be grant-
ed an indefinate leave of absence and that City Attorney
Mathis be permitted to appoint an Assistant City Attorney,
subject to the approval of the Board of Aldermen, which
motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
