The Board of Aldermen of the City of WichitaT ll s,
Texas, met in called session on the above date for tie trans-

action of the business of the City, with Mayor Marlow presiding,
and with the following offcers present: Alderman a.F.Reed,
J.L.Lea Jr. and C.E.McCutchen, City Clerk Walkuv in attendance.

Alderman McCutchen moved that the following order be
passed: It is ordered by tie Council that the application
made Sept. I7th I9I8 to the National Highway Commission to pro-
ceed with the construction of approximately two miles of paving
and two miles of side walks set out in the application be and
hereby is approved on behalf of the Council, and that R.E.Huff and
B.F.Johnson are hereby authorized and requested to present the
matter to the National Highway Commission and endeavor to secure
its approval of same, and permission to proceed with the work,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Reed and carried.
