'lderman Reed moved that the Board of Aldermen meet at Broad and

enth Street at 8-30 O'clock Oct. 4th fet the purpose of looking
.ver the situation relative to curb between 9th and IOtt_ Streets,
hich motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

Alderman McFall moved that Grant Street be paved from IOth Street
o the center of Avenue H, which motion was seconded by Alderman
Feed and carried.

,lderman Ree' moved that the estimate submited by J.B.Crocket,
County Road Engineer be recorded and made a part of the minutes,
said estimate being as follows:

Mrs. W.G.Teal, Deputy Tax Assessor and collector,
presented Tax rolls for I9I8 for examination and approval, where-
upon Alderman Lea moved that the Rolls be approved, which motion was
seconded by Alderman Reed and carried.

Alderman McFall moved that the thahkks of this Beard be

extended to Mrs. Teal for the neat tax rolls submitted, which motion
was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

Alderman McFall moved that the Mayor wire R.H.Collier
Representd.Oeof the Trinity Portland Cement Co., that the Beard had
ordered Grant Street paved, which motion was seconded by Alderman
Lea and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that the accounts of Dr.D.Meredith for $23.29

and Frank Gray for $I7.50 be paid, which motion was seconded by
Alderman Loa and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that Alderman Bundy be authorized to purchase
stoves for the Fire Department, which motion was seconded by
.lderman Lea and carried.

:lderman Bundy moved that Alderman McFall be authorized to close
deal for Chemical Fire Engin, same to be nickel plated and equip-
teed with Siren whistle, and that the City Clerk be instructed to
.raw warrant for $203j4`5 in payment of same, which motion was
seconded by Alderman Lea and carried.
