Min 11/14/1918 Wichita Falls. Texas, November 14th, 1918. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas met in regular session on the above date for the transadtion of the business of the city with Alderman J. F. Reed, Mayor Protem presiding and with the following officers present. Aldermen J. M. McFall, C. E. McCutchen J. L. Lea Jr. and M. A. Bundy. Acting City Attorney Weeks, City Clerk Walkup and City Marshal Smith in attendance. o 0 0 Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved. o 0 0 Alderman McCutchen moved that Mayor Marlow, Alderman Reed and City Attorney Weeks be appointed a committee to confer with R. E. Huff, re- lative a Judgement to be agreed upon in reference to Boundary lines of the city in suit now $ending in the District Court of Wichita County and report back to the Board, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. o 0 0 ORDINANCE NO. 253 An ordinance prohibiting smoking upon street care and fixing a penalty for so doing was on motion of Alderman McFall seconded by Alder- man McCutchen, put upon its first reading and passed by the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Lea yes, Alderman McFall, yea, Alderman McCutchen, yea, and Alderman Bundy yea. Mayor Reed then declared ordinance No. 253 passed on its tfirireading by the unanimous vote of all the Aldermen present voting yea. o 0 o Alderman McCutchen moved that $3.00 be refunded to J. W. Thomas double payment of sewer rent whbh motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried. 0 0 o Report of Mrs. Smock, Food and Dairy inspector from August let, 191P to date was read, whereupon Alderman Lea moved that the report be approved and filed with motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy end carried. o 0 o Alderman Lea moved that Alderman McCutchen order insurance on the stock and futures at Kemp Library as per previous order of the Board of Alderman whih motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried.
