Min 12/05/1918 M Wichita Falls, Texas. December 5th, 1918. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas met in regular sessio n on the above date for the transaction of the business of the city with Mayor J. B. Marlow presiding and with the following officers present. Alderman J. F. Reed, J. L. Lea. Jr. C. E. McCutchen and M. A. Bundy. Acting City Attorney Weeks, City Clerk Walkup and City Marshal Smith in attendance. o 0 0 Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved. o C o Alderman Reed moved that the bill of R. E. Huff for $167.74 expense to Washington D. C. he paid, which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. o 0 o Alderman Lea moved that the account of A. J. Savell for $26.00 catching 52 dogs and the account of R. E. Helms for $14.00 watching dog pound be paid which motion was 3bcoaded"br Alderman Bundy and carried. o 0 o Alderman Reed moved that the account of H. F. Robertson for $17.39 Commission on sewer collection)bhe paid which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. r E'', ❑�L7,73 0 0 0 Alderman Lea moved that Alderman Bundy be authorized to employ such police as- sistance as he thought necessary during Christmas ho'llidays which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried. o 0 o Alderman Lea moved that J. W. Walkup, City Clerk, be granted one week leave of absence commencing Sunday December 8th, which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen andcarried. o 0 o Ordinance No. 253. An ordinance prohibiting smoking upon street cars and fixing a penalty for so doing was on motion Alderman Lea seconded by Alderman nundy, put on its third itititine-and-paeebdnby the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Reed yea, Alderman Lea yea, Alderman McCutchen yea, and Alderman Bundy yea. Mayor Marlow then dectttOk' Ordinance No. 253 passed on its and final reading by the unanimous vote of all the Aldermen present voting yea. o 0 0 The Board then proceeded to check and 0. K. officers reports for November 1918. The report of H. F.
