On December 9th., 1918 the City Council , the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, and Commissioners Court of Wichita County,
Texas, met in a joint session in the Commissioners Court Room,
Two O'clock P. M., relative to the Wichita General Hospital.
On the motion of J. P. Jones, seconded by R. L. Feds, Mayor
J. D. Marlow was elected Chairman; the following items were consid
ered and disposed of as follows:
The report of Dr. C. R. Hartsook., Secretary & Treasurer of
the Board of Managers, was presented and after careful consideration
was adopted ' . See Exhibit "A".
The bill olf Dr. D. ;, rridith i r the sure: of $285.50 for
Sanitary Medical Services was presented to the board. After the bill
was explained by Dr. Merridith and thoroughly understood by the Board
the sane was adopted and ordered paid }fie follows:

On the motion of E. A. McClesky, seconded by J. M. McFall,
Dr. Frand Clark of Iowa Park, was elected to said Board of Managers,
nee Dr. G. H. Collard, resignee.
The verbal resignation of Dr. C. R. Hartsook was received and
upon ballot, J. C. A. Guest of Wichita Falls, was duly and constitution
ally elected to the members of the Board of Managers of the Wichita
General Hospital.
It was moved by J. H. McFall, and seconded by S. J. Whar, that
the joint Board of the City Council of Wichita Falls and the Commission
era Court of Wichita County, extend •to the present Board of Managers, a
hearty vote of thanks for the valuable and efficient services tendered
during the past year.
No further business coming before the jo'nt session, the
same stood adjourned, eine die.
