The Board of Aldermen of the city Wichita Falls,Texas. met in _ -
regular session on the above date for the transaction of the
business of the city, with Mayor J,B,Marlow presiding and
with the following Officers present, Aldermen J,L,Lea,jr.
J,M,McFall, C,E,McCutchen and M,A,Bundy.

Minutes of last regular and called sessions were read
and approved.

Alderman McFall moved that Dr.4841th be required to make
two reports in writing per we says of water tests made,
Which motion was seconded by merman MoCutchen and carried.

Alderman MoCutchen moved that the janitor service at the
CityHall be placed under the charge of Fire Chief McClure
and that the janitor work be done by the fire Boys at a
salary of thirty Dollars per month,which motion was
seconded by Alderman McFall and carried.

Alderman Lea moved that this board ask headquarters of the
Salvation Army through J,C,Hunt,to return Ensign H,G,Robb
to Wichita Falls,whioh motion was seconded by Alderman
McFall and carried. o 0 0
Alderman Bundy moved that the City take out Fire,theft and
Indemnity Insurance on the Police car,whioh motion was
seconded by Alderman McCutchen,and carried.

Alderman McCutchen moved that the city refund to Welch,
Morgan, the sum of three Dollars,double payment on sewer rent,
which motion was seconded by Alderman Lea, and carried.

Alderman Bundy moved that the6.,City Bills be paid as per 0'K of
the finance committee which>ss'seconded by Alderman McFall
and carried.

R,E,Huff, on behalf of citizens and property owners on Elizabeth
Avenue came before the board and made a proposition that he and
said citizens would pave Elizabeth Avenue from Brook Avenue
toArcher(now Harrison Street) paying themselves all costs of
paving and paving Intersections and curb Also for curb at
Intersections,provided the city would grade said Avenue and
supervise the work,and the Board on motion of Alderman McFall
seconded by Alderman Bun$y,accepted said proposition and agreed
to grade said Elizabeth Avenue and supervise said work,
Provided however that if the voters of the city should fail to
approve of the bond issue for Street Improvements ,to be
submitted to them in the near future that this acceptance shall
be inoperative.
