The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,Texas, met in
regular session on the above date,for the transaction of the business
of the City, with Alderman J,F,Reed,mayor pro tem Presiding,and with
the following officers present,Aldermen J,L,Lea jr,J,M,McFall,
C,E,MoCutchen,and M,A,Bundy. City Atty Mathis,City Clerk Walkup,
City Marshal Smith,Fire Chief McClure,and acting City Engineer

Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved.

Alderman Bundy moved that the Tax Collector be instructed to cancel
the cost interest and penalty,on Lot Owned by J,T,A,Fleming,for the
year 1998,whioh motion was seconded by Alderman McFall,and carried.

Mrs Kirley and Mrs Dent,came before the Board and presented a petition
from the Civic League and various other Societies,asking the Board of
Aldermen to pass an Ordinance authorizing a Censorship of amusements,
covering Theatrical productions of all kinds,including Dramatic,
Vaudeville and Motion Picture productions, whereupon Alderman Bundy
moved that the petition be filed,and that the City Attorney be
instructed to prepare an Ordinance for that purpose,which motion was
seconded by Alderman MoCutchen,and carried.

ORDINANCE NO 254,
AN ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF OTHER LAWS RELATING TO THE DRIVING AND
OPERATING OF SERVICE CARS.FIXING A PERIOD OF RESIDENCE FOR OWNERS AND
DRIVERS OF SERVICE CARS,REQUIRING OWNERS AND DRIVERS TO REGISTER,
AND FIXING A PENALTY,
Was on motion of Alderman MoCutchen seconded by
Alderman McFall,put on its first reading and passed by the following
yea and nay vote,Alderman Lea,Yea,Alderman McFall,Yea,Alderman Bundy,
Yea,and Alderman McCutchen,Yea. Mayor Reed then declared Ordinance
No 254 passed on its first reading by the unanimous vote of all the
Alderman present voting yea.

Alderman Lea moved that the City Bills be paid as per OK of the
finance committee,which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and
carried. o 0 0
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
