The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,Texas,met in
Regular session on the abive date for the transaction of the business
of the City,with Mayor J,B,Marlow,presiding and with the following
Officers present,Aldermen J,F,Reed, J,L,Lea Jr, C,E,MoCutchen,
J,M,McPall,and M,A,Bundy. City Atty Mathis,City Clerk Walkup,City
Marshal Smith,and acting Oity Engineer Donald,in attsndaaue.

G,W,Pond,representing Ponds Laundry Company,aporporation composed of
J,W,Pond,G,W,Pond;R,K,Pond,came before the Board and asked permission
to install a Gasoline filling station on the north side of the Ponds
Laundry Company Building on 6th Street,whereupon Alderman Lea moved
that the reqest be granted, under the usual provisions,To Wit:
That the said Gasoline Filling Station be placed at least fifty feet
back from the front of said building,that the work be done under the
supervision of the City Engineer,and that said Corporation, Ponds
Laundry Company,and J,W.Pond,G,W,Pond,and R,K,Fond individually,
their Administrators,succeseors and assigns,hold the City harmless
from any and all damages that may be caused by the installation or
maintenance of said Gasoline Filling Station,and to remove same upon
> and restore sidewalks

Alderman McCutchen,and carried.

for the Cemetery,whioh motion was seconded by Alderman MOCutohen,

AN ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF OTHER LAWS RELATING THE DRIVING AND
OPERATING OF SERVICE CARS,FIXING A PERIOD OF RESIDENCE FOR OWNERS AND
DRIVERS OF SERVICE CARS,REQUIRING OWNERS AND DRIVERS TO REGISTER,
AND FIXING A PENALTY, was on motion of Alderman McCutohen seconded by
1 Alderman MOFall,put on its second reading and passed by the following
yea and nay vote, Alderman Reed,Yea, Alderman Lea,Yea, Alderman
McFall,Yea, Alderman McCutchen,Yea, and Alderman Bundy,Yea,
Mayor Marlow then declared ordinance number 254 passed on its seeondp.
by the unanimous vote of all the Aldermen of the City voting Yea.
