The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,Texas, met in regular
session on the above date for the transaction of the business of the City
with Mayor J,B,Marlow, presiding,and with the following officers present,
Aldermen,J,F,Reed,J,L,Lea jr,C,E,McCutchsc and M,A,Bundy.
City Atty Mathis,City Clerk Walkup,City Marshal Smith,r'ire Chief McClure,
And acting City Engineer Donald in attendance.

Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved.

Roy B Jones, presented to the Board a petition signed by himself and four
others asking that Harrison Street be paved between tenth and eleventh
Streets,whereupon Alderman McCutchen moved that the petition be received
and filed,which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

The Board then went into Executive Session to consider matters authorized by
the city charter to be considered in Executive session. The Board then went
out of Executive session,and the following business was transacted.

Alderman McCutchen moved that the wire and Plumbing inspector be paid $150.
Ore hundred and fifty Dollar; per month commenceing February first until
April 15th,the said Inspector to furnish his o:i, conveyance, which motion
was seconded by Alderman Lea and earriad.

'the matter of nightwatchman for the southeastern portion of the City was
on motion of Alderman need oecunded by Alderman Lea,referea to Alderman
handy fur invoatigation,citL power to act.

Alderman Lea moved that the Board decline to suspend the pool hall Ordinance
which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.

Alderman Bundy moved that the action of Mayor Marlow,relative the Street Cart"
be approved,which motion was seconded by Alderman McCutchen and carried.
