Min 05/08/1919 Wichita Falls,Texas,May 8th,1919. The Board, of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,Texas, met in regular session on the above date for the_transaction of the business of the City. with Mayor J,B,Marlow,presiding,and with the following officers present, Aldermen J.,F,Reed,J,M,McFall,M,A,Bundy,H,F,Weldon and W,S,Curlee, City Atty Mathis,City Clerk Walkup,City Marshal Smith,City Tax Assessor and Collector Anderson,(City Treasurer Barren),Fire Chief McClure and acting City Engineer Donald in attendance. o 0 0 Minutes of the last regular session were read and approved. o 0 o Alderman Weldon Moved that the Park Board be authorized to make any trade or arrangements with the Wichita Club and the Civic Organizations of the City, for improvements to be placed at the Huff,MoGregor Park swiming Pool they may deem proper,whioh motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. o 0 0 Mrs Smock,Dairy and Food Inspector,came before the Board and recommended the erection of a Municipal Slaughter House,and for an expression from the Board relative the proposition,whereupon Alderman McFall moved that the Board go on record as favoring the proposition,which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. o 0 o Alderman McFall moved that the report of the Board of Health be approved and filed,and that Alderman Reed be authorized to employ an assistant to the City Sanitary officer,which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. o 0 0 Alderman Weldon moved that the account of C,M,Mann,for $ 11.75. for railing around the City marshals desk,be paid,which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. O 0 0 Alderman Reed moved that McFall Brothers,be permitted to connectuto Wash pit with the storm Sewer which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and Carried. O 0 o Mrs Smock filed her report covering the period from January 3rd to May 3rd 1919,whereupon Alderman Reed moved that the report be approved and filed, and that her account for $3.70.for milk samples,be paid,which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. • o 0 0 The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
