The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wdchita Falls, Texas, met in regular
session oil the above date for the transaction of the business of the City,
with Mayor, J. B. Marlow, presiding, and with the following officers present,
Aldermen J. F. R ed. J. M. McFall, M. A. Bundy, H. F. Weldon and W. S. Curies.
City Atty Mathis, City Clerk Walkup, City Marshall Smith, City Tax Assessor and
Collector Anderson, Fire Chief McClure and acting City Engineer Donald in
attendance.

Alderman Curlee Moved that O. L. Shaw be refunded the sum of $t.b0 occapation •
tax for set-ing pictures on the street,hich moved and was seconded by alderman
McFall ana carrled

Alderman Pe4,-don moved that the Alley running North and South through Block
13,8bMtiilaaqaddition to the City of aichita Falls, Texas, be closed on the
written permission of the adjacent property owners, which motion was seconded
by Alderman Curlee and carried.

The Board of Aldermen then went into executive session to consider matters
authorized by the City Charter to be con idered in an executive session the
Board then went out of executive session and the following business was
transacted.

Alderman McFall moved that the Alfalfa Lumber Company be permitted to use 15
fdet of the street at 1007 and 1009 Ohio Avenue for the purpose of storing
material for the erection pf a building at that point,under the usual
provision to wit: That the said alfalfa Lumber Company its Administrators, >
successors, and assigns , hold the City harmless from any and all damages
that may be caused by storing said material, which motion was seconded by
Alderman Bundy and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that the City bills be paid as per ok by the Finance
Committee which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.

Alderman McFall moved that the account of H. J. Anderson, tax collector
for $43.4H.commission on $868.75 sewer collection be paid which motion was
seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

Aldemman McFall moved that the City Clerk be authorized to hire an assistant
at a salary not to exceed $75.00 per month which motion was seconded by Alderman
Curlee and carried.

Alderman Bundy moved that alderman Reed be authorized to employ a watchman for
the Park which motion was seconded by alderman McFall and carried.
