The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Palls, Texas. met in regular session
on the above date for t ,e transaction of the business of the City with Alderman
Reed, Mayor Protem presiding and with the following officers present Aldermen
J. M. Mo Pall. H. F. Weldon, W. S. Curlee and M. A. Bundy. City Attorney Mathis,
City Clerk Walkup. City Marshal Smith, Fire Chief McClure and acting Engineer D
Donald in attendance.

Minutes of last regular and called session was read and approved.

Alderman Curlee moved that the matter of changing the width of the parking on
Collins Street be referred to street committee which motion was seconded by
Alderman McFall and earried.

Alderman Curlee moved that the matter of hiring extra teams to assist with the
street paving be referred to the street committee which motion was seconded by
Alderman McFall and aarried.

Alderman Weldon moved that H. B. Hayes be permitted to use Fifteen (15) feet
of the street and half of the Alley at 705 Travis Avenue for the purpose of
storing material for the erection of a building at that point under the usual
provision to with that the said H. Bs Hayes hold the City harmless from any
damages oaused by storing said material which motion was seconded by Alderman
McFall and carried.

Alderman Curlee moved that the Board go on record that all laws now on ordinance
books be inforoed and especially ordinances relating to hawking, peddling and
signs on street and sidewalks which motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and
carried.

Alderman McFall moved that G. E. Zimmerman beep rmitted to of Fifteen (15ft) ft
of Ninth Street and Fifteen feet of Travis,.for e purp8 of storing material
for the erection of a building at that point when he had complied with the
permit herefore granted on the opposite corner of Ninth and Travis under the
usual provision to wit: that the said 11. E. Zimmerman hold the City harmless
from any damages that may be caused by storing said material which motion was
seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.

The resignation of Mrs Smock, food and dairy inspector was presented to the
Board, whereupon, Alderman McFall moved that the .resignation•;,be accepted which
motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and carried.

Alderman Curlee moved that the Board of Aldermen extend to Mrs Smock a vote of
1 thanks for her services and that the Chairman of the Sanitary committee write
4kya letter to Mrs Smock thanking her for the services rendered the City in the
past which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and carried.

Alderman Weldon moved that Alderman Reed be instructed to enter into a contract
with any parties he desires for the completion of the cement work on the Park
swimming pool om a basis of Fifteen per cent of the coat of said work which
motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.

The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
