Min 09/04/1919 L • Wichita Falls, Texas, September 4th, 1919. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session on the above date for the transaction of the business of the City with Mayor 1 J. B. Marlow.,./presiding and the following offioers present, Alderman J. F. Reed, M. A. Bundy, H. F. Weldon and W. S. Curlee. City Atty Mathis, City Clerk Walkup, Fire Chief McClure, City Marshal Smith and acting City Engineer Donald in attendance O 0 0 Minutes of last regular session were read and approved. O 0 0 Alderman Weldon moved that the sum of Ten ($10.00) fine be refunded J. H. Walker which motion was seoonded by Alderman Reed and carried. o 0 o Alderman Weldon moved that the Fine of Ten ($10.00) Dollars be refunded to Dr.w.A Bauaeford which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. • o 0 o Alderman Curlee moved that A. N. Helsby be refunded the stm of Twenty ($20.00) ollars, Doctor bill paid for setting broken arm which motion was seconded by lderman Weldon and carried. 0 0 0 Alderman ,Reed moved that the City accept and sign contract with the White Company + ger a n fire engine which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and carried. 1 0 0 o Alderman Bundy moved that Dunning Construction Company be instructed to open up and bridge oar the sidewalk on Indiana Avenue at the corner of Indiana Avenue & Eight Street in front of the New National Bank of Commerce building which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and carried. o 0 0 Alderman Curiae moved that the:Acting City Engineer Donald be authorized to place a filing rack in his office for the purpose of filing maps and records which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. 0 0 o Alderman Weldon moved that the Street Superintendent Dobson be instructed to repair Street Sweeper & Street Grader which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. 0 0 o Ail Alderman Reed moved that the bills of the Power/Refining Company, for $603.26 for two cars of Road oil and the bill of A. MoCify West for $3.65 special officer be paid which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon and carried. o,0 o ORDIIL.-_NCE No. 264 AN ORDIAIINCE DECLARING SCOTLAiD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, A PART OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND WITHIN SAID MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. was on motion of Alderman Bundy, seconded by Alderman Curlee put on its second reading and passed by the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Reed ye$, Alderman Bundy yea, Alderman Weldon yea, and Alderman Curlee yea. Mayor Marlow then declared Ordinance No. 266 pas ed on its second reading by All the Aldermen of the City present voting yea. O Co Alderman Reed moved that the matter of employing Desk Sergeant Police Department be referred to Alderman Bundy for action which notion was seconded by Alderman Wed Weldon and carried,. o 0 o The Board of Aldermen then adjourned. o 0 o Read and approved this Eleventh Day of September A.
