McPa11, City Atty Mathis, City Clerk Walkap, Fire CChhiefaI,',eClure StreetrSuuperintendent,Dobson oand sActing Cityor and Engineer Anderson,ctor Cit Cit Teasurer Barren Tax EngineerDonald in Attendance. 0 0 0 Minutes of regular session Sept llt o were read and approved. o 1 Alderman McFall moved that Mack Weitzmann be permitted to use 15ft of the Street at 1007-- Travis Avenue for the purpose of storing material for the erection of a building at that point under the usual provision to wit; that the said Mack Weitzmann his Administrators., Successors and Assign* shall hold the City harmless from any damages that may be caused by storing said material which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. o 0 0 Judge P. AM Martin came before the Beard and presented tha following resolution; Resolved that the mayor and City Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to make execute and deriver to A. B. Allen a good and euffieient deed in writing conveying to the said A.-W. Allen a strip of land ten feet wide by three hundred and twenty nine feeu long, out of the south side of Ban Antonio Street lying just north of Block No. 42 of Kemp's subdivision and addition to the City of Wichita Falls, the consideration of said conveyance being a deed of said Allen to the City of an eve., amount of land ' o the South side of said block for the purpose of a public alley ten feet wide by 329 feet long, whereupon Alderman Curlee moved that the'resolution be adopted w ich motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried. 0 0 0 Alderman McFall moved that the Marble Coal.& Peed Company, be permitted to mewe a pair of Wagon scales from the alley between Scott & I liana Avenue on 10th street to the Alley between Scott & Lamar Averne on llth Street under the usual provision to wit; that the said Mariele Coal and Feed Company, its legal representatives, Administrators, Successors and Assigns shall hold the City harmless from any damages that may be caused by the removal, instillation and maintenance of said Wagon scales and to remove same upon notice Of the Board of Aldermen which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. O 0 0 Alderman Curlee moved that the sum of Ten Dollars bend forfeiture be refunded \,\ to Sam Shepherd which motion was seconded by Alderman Mc Fall and carried. � o 0 0 ORDINANCE NO. 267. AN 0 RDINANCE FIXING INSPECTION FEES FOR PLUMBING AND GAS INSPECTIONS; FIXING FEES FOR TAPPING SEWER AND ZROVIDING A PENAIlPY was on motion of Alderman McFalle put on its second reading and passed by the following yea and nu' vote. Alderman McFall yea,_ Alderman Bundy yea and Alderman Curiae yea. Mayor laarlow then declared Ordinance No.., 267, passed on its second reading by the anenimous vett of all the Aldermen bf the City present voting yea. O 0 114 ORDINANCE No. 268. AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKIN.* OF AUTOMOBILES OR OTHER VEHICLE BETWEEN TEE CURB LINE AND SAFETY ZONE OR ZONES, AND PRESC2.IBING A PENALTY, was on motion of Alderman Bundy seconded by Alderman McFall put on its first reading and passed by the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Mc Fall yea, Alder Bundy yea, and-Alderman Curlee yea. Mayor Marlow then declared ORDINANCE No. 268 passed on •ite first reading by the unanimous vote of all the Alderman of the City present voting yea. O 0 0 Alderman Bundy moved that the railing for safety zone for the protection of Street Car passengers be placed at Ohio & Seventh, Ohio & Ninth Street and Indiana at Seventh, Eight & Ninth Street which motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried. o 0 o Alderman McFall moved that the salary of Geo Dobson Street Superintendent be raised to $200.00 per month commencing October let, 1919, which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried.
