Min 11/20/1919 • Wichita Falls, Texas, November 2oth, 1919. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session oe the above date for the transaction of the business of the City with Mayor J. B. Marlow presiding, and the following officers present, Aldermen J. F. Reed, M. A. Bundy, J. M. McFall, H. F. Weldon amd W. S. Curlee. City Atty Mathis, City Clerk Thorburn, Fire Marshal McClure and Acting City Engineer Donald in attendance. o 0 0 Minutes of last regular and called session were read and approved. 0 0 0 Alderman Weldon moved that J. F. Reed make a trip on the Cities expense to Denver and other cities for the purpose of investigating the method of handling garage and trash, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried. O 0 0 Alderman McFall moved that the proposition of granting permission for the erection of a business building at 909.10th Street be submitted to the Council which motion was seconded by Alderman Weldon. Submitted to the Council permission denied by unanimous vote of all the Aldermen present. O 0 o Alderman Reed moved that the Librarian salary be raised to One Hundred and Thirty Five ($135.00) Dollars per month which motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried. O 0 o Alderman leldon moved that M. M. Buchanan Aesistan Engineer be granted a leave absence until Monday Morning November Twenty Fourth (24th) which motion was seconded by Alderman Cutlee and carried. o 0 0 Alderman Weldon moved that B. L. Tipton be granted permission to erect a.,4.€4 'post at the Southeast corner of Eight and Scott Avenue under the usual provision to wit: that the installation of said post shall be under the supervision of the City Engineer and that B. L. Tipton his Adminidtrators, Successors and Assigns shall hold the City harmless from any damages that may be caused by the erection of the said post, and to remove same upon notice of the Board of Aldermen and to replace sidewalk in proper condition which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and carried. 0 0 0 The Board of Aldermen theriadjourned. 0 0 0 Read and approved this Twenty Seventh day of November A.
