The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called session
on the above date for the transaction oft_e business of the Cit:- with Mayor
J. B. Marlow presiding and the following Officers present, Alderman Reed, M. A.
Bundy, and W. S. Curiae. City Atty Mathis andCity Clerk lhorburn in attendande.

Alderman Bundy moved that the Bond filed with Council by leo. W. Thorburn City
be approved and accepted which motion was seconded by Alderman Cutlee and carried

Alderman Bundy moved that the council employ the firm of Weeks Morrow Weeks and
Francis to assist in the settlement of the controversy with the Southwestern
Telephone and Telegraph Company which motion was seconded by Alderman Curiae
and carried.

Mayor Marlow appointed Fred Weeks, Ralph Mathis and Walter Curiae as a committee
to enter into negotiation with the Southwestern Telephone and Telegraph Company
and to report back to the Council as seen as possible.
