Wichita Falls, Texas, January 15th, 1920.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Valle, Texas, met in regular session
on the above date for the transaction of the business of t e City with Mayor
J. B. Marlow presiding and the f ol.owing officers present. Aldermen J. P. -eed,
M. A, Bundy andW. S. Curlee. City Clerk Thorburn in attendance, City Treasurer
Barron and Tax Assessor and Collector And rson in attendance.

Alderman Curlee moved that the Viner Investment Company be permitted to use
narking space on Tenth Street at Bluff Street for erection of a tool house and
for unloading of material and also parking space and Ten (10) Feet on Bluff for
unloading and storing material which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and
carried.

Alderman Reed moved that M. D. Luyder be permitted to put in entrance way to
basement in the sidewalk at Indiana and Tenth Street which motion was seconded
by Alderman Curlee and carried.

ORDINANCE 274
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL EMPLOYEES OF FOOD PRODUCTS ESTABLISHMENTS TO BE
EXAMINED AND HOLD CERTIFICATE FROM THE CITY HEALTH OFFICER OR OTHER DULY
AUTHORIZED PHYSCIANS SHOWING SUCH ENTLOYEE TO BE FREE FROM ALL CONTAGIOUS
COPTN.FUPIICABLE OR INFECTIOUS DISEASES, AND PROVIDIN1 A P ki Y, was on motion
of Alderman Heed.ustonded by Alderman Bundy put on its .114Wiro reading and passed
by the following yea and nay vote. Alderman Reed yea, Alderman Bundy yea, and
Alderman Curlee yea. Mayor Marlow then declared Ordinance 274 passed on its
third and final reading by all the Aldermen of the C ty present voting yea.

Alderman Eeed moved that the Wichita Ice and Refrigerator Company be permitted
to erect a tool house at the end of Ninth Street close up to Railroad which
motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

Alderman Curlee moved that J. C. Joplin and Company be permitted to use
Fifteen (15) Feet of Lamar Street at 925-Lamar and also Ten (10) Feet of Brook
Street at Brook and Eight Street for purpose of storing material forbuilding
which motion was seconded by Alderman Bundy and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that D. H. Whitehead be permitted to build a tool house on
11th Street and Scott and also use Fifteen (15) Feet on Scott Street for purpose
of storing building materials which motion was seconded by Alderman Curlee and
carried.

The Board of Aldermen then proceeded to check and 0. K. Officers report for the
month of December 1919.
