on the above date or the transaction of he businese of the City with Mayor
J. B. Marlow presiding, and the following Officer present, Alderman Reed,
M. A. Bundy and W. S. Curlee. City Clerk Thorburn.

Alderman Reed moved that Mr Collins be refunded One Hundred and Seven Dollars and
Twenty Five ($10745) Cents overcharge in Southland Tax which motion was seconded
by Alderman Curlee and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that Adah H. Tietsort be paid Seventy Five Dollars ($75.00)
for October, November, December and January and Seventy Five ($75,00) Dollars
per month as long as the Library Board emplys her, and That Nra Roberts be
p. id Eighteen Dollars and Seventy Five ($18.75) dents which motion was seconded
by Alderman Curiae and carried.

Alderman Curlee moved that Dr. Reed be authorized to make a new contract with
C. R. Nichols for extension of sewers, which motifs was seconded by Alderman
Bundy and carried.

Alderman Reed moved that the City Council pay half of salary F. N. Lawton,
which half amounts to One undrd and Fifty ( 150.00) Dollars per month, and

AN ORDIRINCB ADOPTING FORM OF BONDS, FIXING THE PLACE OF PAYMENT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS BONDS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE WATER WORKS SYSTEM, AUTHORIZED BY.AN ELECTION fT.D
JANUARY 15, 1920 AND FAKING PROVISIONS FOR A TAX FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE
PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST THEREOF was on motion of Alderman Curies seconded by
Alderman Bundy putt on its first reading and passed by the following yea and nay
vote. Alderman Curlee yea, Alderman Bundy yea, and Alderman Reed yea. Mayor
Marlow then declared Ordinance 278 passed on its first reading by all the
Aldermen of the City present fotI yea.
