The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas met in regular session on the above date for the trans-
action of the business of the City, with W.S. Curlee, Mayor
Pro-Tem presiding, and Aldermen McDowell, Bralley, Bonner, and
City Clerk Thorburn in attendance.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
On recommendation of the Tax Collect cr, H.J. Anderson,
Alderman Bonner moved that the Delinquent taxes for the period
' 1914 to 1918 due by Wichita Falls Electric Company, be adjusted
and settled on basis of $3,316.06, and also that the.Delinouent
taxes for same period due by i71chi.ta Falls Water Company be ad-
justed and settled on basis of '41,627.13, which motion was secon-
ded by Alderman Bralley and carried.
Moved by Alderman McDowell that the bill for 425.00 for
an automobile mailing list be allowed, which motion was seconded
by Alderman Bralley and parried.
Moved by Alderman McDowell that taxes erroneously paid
by the Texas Amalgamated Oil Company, amounting to $3.42 be
refunded, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bonner and car-
ried.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that the application to pave
Collins Avenue from West line of Bridwell to West line of
Marshall Street be filed with City Clerk, and referred to the
City Engineer and that paving be ordered in when the City Eng-
ineer has entered into a satisfactory working contract with
L.E. Whitman d Company, which motion was seconded by Alderman
Bralley and carried.
Moved by Alderman McDowell that the petition to pave
Mississippi be filed with the City Clerk and referred to City
Engineer to determine kind of pavement, and that City Clerk
advertise for bids on sane to close June 25th, which motion
was seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that the petition to pave
Filmore Street from Tenth'to Avenue F. be filed with City
Clerk, and referred to City Engineer to determine kind of
paving, and that City Clerk advertise for bids on same to
close June 25th, which motion was seconded by Alderman
McDowell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that all owners of tents,
and other temporary structures inside the fire limits be
notified to move same in ten days, which motion was secon-
ded by. Alderman McDowell and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that the matter Of Tennis
Courts on Bellevue Park be referred to Park Board and City
Engineer, which motion was seconded b:- Alderman Bralley and
carried.

Moved by Alderman Bonner that Jno, D. Robertson
be permitted to install a Gasoline Filling Station at 614-616
Indiana avenue under the usual provisions to-wit: That the
said Jno. D. Robertson, his legal representatives, adminis-
trators, successors, and assigns shall hold the Gity harmless
from any damages that may result from the installation of said
Gasoline Station, and also that said Gasoline Filling Station
shall be installed under the supervision of the City Engineer
and renewed when requested by the City Council, which motion
was seconded by Alderman McDowell and carried.
Dr. Daniels and Dr. Guest then came before the
Council and requested that the City in conjunction with the County
install a new heating plant, and also put in new floors in the
General Hospital, and Alderman McDowell moved that Alderman
Bonner", as commissioner of Public Utilities and Dr. M.M. Walker,
as City Health Officer, be appointed a committee of two to meet
with the County Commissioners and the Hospital Board, and report
back to the Council, which motion was seconded by Alderman Bralley
and carried.

ORDINANCE #287
"An Ordinance to repeal Ordinance #123, passed by
the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas on January
14th, 1910, and approved January 17th, 1910, revoking all Licenses
granted under said Ordinance and providing for refunding any un-
earned portion of same",was on motion of Alderman Bonner, second-
ed'by Alderman Bralley, placed on its second reading by the fol-
lowing yea and nay vote:

Mayor Pro-tom-then declared Ordinance #287 passed
on its second reading by all the Aldermen present voting Yea.

public Fire Hydrant in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, the

through a street, siddwalk,or other public place with any
prostitute, and providing for a penalty" was on motion of

Moved by Alderman Bonner that J.C. Sapling & Co.
De allowed to use 18 inches of Tenth Street, and 10 feet on
Polk Street, and the space between property line and curb on
both Streets to store material for the building of the new
Methodist Church, which motion was seconded by Alderman McDowell
and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
