Min 07/01/1920 July 1st, 1920.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
met in regular session of the above date for the transaction of the
business of the City, Mayor Pro-tem W.S. CurSee presiding, and
Aldermen Bralley, McFall, McDowell, and City Clerk Thorburn in atten-
dance.
Moved by Alderman Bonner that authority be given to City
Engineer,Montgomery, S yyp�Superintendent,Dobson, and City Ole k ,
Thorburn, to construe Aa '5 aeksmith shop and garage,
at the City Barns,
which motion was seconded by Alderman McFall and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bralley that the matter of increased
street car fares be referred to Alderman Bonner and that he confer
with the Traction Company and report back to the Council at its
next regular meeting,
Judge Bonner then recommended that the building of the
poor farm recently damaged by storm be repaired and a second story
be put on same at an approximate cost of 4,500, half of which to
be paid b the County authorities, and Alderman McFall then moved
that thi comendation be acoetted and a proved,
.hich motion was seconded by Alderman McDowell and car
rid'.
Moved by Alderman Bralley that a steam roller be purchased
from the Wichita Builders Supply Company, at a cest of $4970, F.O.B
Factory, same to be a ten ton, three wheel, Buffalo-Pitts Roller,
which motion was Seconded by Alderman Bonner and carried.
