Motion seconded by Alderman Redd and carried. ####### # ######## ORDINANCE 429 • AN ORDINANCE GIVING AND GRANTING TO THE WICHITA FALLS TRACTION COM- PANY ITS SUCCESSORS ASSIGNS AND LESSEES, THEHIGHT TO EXTEND, CONSTRUCT AND OF4RITE A STANDARD-GUAGE OAR LINE OA LINES ON,OVER, ACROSS AND UPON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED AND NAMED STREETS 1N THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO-WIT:- BEGINNING AT A POINT WHERE hti,MP BOULEVARD INTERSECTS WITH AVENUE "G" STREET, THENCE IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION ALONG "G" STREET TO BELL STREET,THENCE IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION ALONG BELL STREET TO "F" STREET, THENCE IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION ON "F" STREET TO THE INTERSECTION OF HARRISON, THENCE NORTH ON HARRISON TO THE INTERSECTION OF COLLINS, MAKING CONNECTION WITH THE PRESENT LINE AT COLL*- INS AND HARBISON PROVIDING THAT SAID TRACKS SHALL BE LAID IN CONFORMITY WITH THE FRA- NCHISE HERETOFORE GRANTED TO J.A.KEMP AND FRANK KELL ON THE 27TH DAY OF JANUARY 1909, AND ALL OF THE AMENDMENTS THERETO, AND THE PROVISIONS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID FRANCHISE AND AMENDMENTS THERETO ARE EXPRESSLY MAnE APPLICABLE TO THIS ORD- INANCE, EXCEPT, HOWEVER, AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS ORDINANCE. A. Berry for a period of one year from April 10, 192$ to April 10, 192iffor a consideration of a fence being built awYre said dump ground by P. A. Berry at no cost to the City. Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried. ########################## ORDINANCE 428 ORDINANCE TO CLOSE, VACATE AND ABANDON THE ALLEY RUNNING THROUGH BLOCK NO. THREE (3) OF THE WEST SIDE ADDITION TO THE FLORAL HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT: SAID ALLEY RUNNING PARALLEL WITH GARFIELD STREET. Moved by Alderman Fitts that Ordinance 428 be placed on its first reading. Motion seconded by AldermantStayton and carried by the following vote:- Yeas: Stayton, Fitts, Reed, Shepherd. Hayes: None. ######################## ORDINANCE 427 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PUBLIC DANCES AND TANCE HALLS, REQUIRING LICENSES FOH THE HOLDING OF CERTAIN DANCES AND PROVIDING PENALTY. Moved by Alderman Fitts that Ordinance 427 be placed on its cair and final reading and be adopted as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried by the following vote:- Yeas;- Stayton, Fitts, Reed, Shepherd. Naves: hone. #################### Moved by Alderman Fitts that the following bills covering supplies furnished the General Hospital be allowed and ordered paid out of the General Fund. W. A. Douglas, Health Director be permitted to move his office and laboratory to the County Court House.
