August 21st 1922.
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
met in regular session on the above date with the following present:-
Prank Collier, Mayor

Moved by Alderman Stayton that the request made by I. H:
Roberts and Vic Staapfli to construct a six foot sidewalk, not on level of
street, but raised about six (6) inches and on which oars will not be parked
in front of the buildings they are to construct on Eighth Street opposite
the General Hospital, be granted and approved, and that W. S. Ellis who is
constructing a store on Eighth and Brook be notified to construct a similar
sidewalk in front of said store.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that Jerry Lucius be permitted to
rebuild his house at 15th & Scott, if the Fire Chief approves and recommends
the building as proposed by Luoius.
Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford, and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the taxes for 1903 on Lot 9,
Block F, G & B Addition, owned by Pierce Nichols be oancelled.
Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the City Attorney be instructed
to close the deal for the two lots necessary for the opening of Broad Street
into the Sibley Taylor Addition, price to be 2,500.00, one half due April 10,
1923 and one half due April 10th 1924, interest 6%.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.
